2016 Finish Along - Q1
Like I mentioned in my Word of the Year... post my goal for 2016 is to Focus. For too long I've fallen victim to "oh shiny" syndrome, and I haven't dedicated my time to working on things already in progress. This year is (let's be honest) 90% about finishing UFOs, with a little wiggle room for new projects. So with that I give you my goals for the first quarter of the 2016 Finish Along.
First is to start and finish several nursery items I am making for my brother and sister-in-law. They're expecting their second child at the beginning of March, and I am so happy it's a girl so I can make overly girly things! RUFFLES! I am using Bright Heart by Amy Butler, and the colors are simply divine!
My next several goals are to finish the various quilt tops that I have laying around waiting to be quilted. Now that I have my Janome 8900, I can bust out the quilting on a twin sized quilt in no time.
The quilts I need to quilt are:
I still have a bunch of other things to work on too, but I wanted to be realistic with what I think I can really get done! Wish me luck :)
