WIP Wednesday
I've got 32 minutes left before it's Thursday, better late than never right lol. This week I have been working on the same things as last week.
I finished my Aeroplane Bag and I LOVE it... probably because it's the bag version of my Marcelle Medallion.
Speaking of Marcelle, that is my other big thing in the works. I just got all the fabrics I need to finish it up at the end of last week and I am beyond excited to see the final result!
Part of me wants to rip out the corner stones from the geese rows and switch them out for something that will contrast better with the brick layer.... What do y'all think?
Hopefully by this time next week I will be done with this baby and I can move onto the other bazillion things I have in the works.

Love the selection of blues you've used here - I'm very tempted to do something similar for the Tula Pink City Sampler. Well done! :-)
ReplyDeleteWith Constellations being one of my all time favorite fabric lines this is easily one of the best MM quilts ever! I love it so much. I wouldn't worry about the cornerstones, they don't contrast but they still look fine. That being said if you're keeping it for yourself and it's going to bother you now's the time to unpick and change!
ReplyDeleteYour Aeroplane bag looks awesome as well. How was it to make? I've been thinking about this one and debating on if i should make it or the Weekender.
I love those blues, as well! I also love that beautiful center star!

Oh my gosh, these are both so incredible!! Your fabric selection is blowing my mind! I think the cornerstones look fine, but if it will make you happier to change it, then go for it while you still can!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on the bag! And I think contrasting corners would be lovely on the medallion, but not necessary. Best! Kate
ReplyDeleteOh man, both are just gorgeous! Love love love.
ReplyDeleteThese are both gorgeous - great job!
ReplyDeleteLove them both!! Makes me want to dig out my Constellations fabric & get started on something.
