Bloggers Quilt Festival
For my second entry in the Blogger Quilt Festival, I'm submitting the baby quilt that I made from Diane Bohn's awesome pattern Grandma's Lawn Chair. I was lucky enough to get to test the pattern for her and I loved it. You can read my full post about the pattern here.
This quilt I made with a FQ bundle of Pearl Bracelets that I had. I am becoming a sucker for Lizzy House fabrics (I'm hoarding a FQ bundle of her Constellations line).
I made this quilt for friends of ours who just had their 2nd baby. A precious little boy named Milo. I love making baby quilts because they come together so quickly and most of the time are bright and cheery :)
This quilt was the first time I did straight line stitching with a walking foot, and I loved it. It quilted up so much faster than when I did FMQ on William's quilt.
A close up of the pretty quilting.
For the back I used a pretty pale blue Pearl Bracelet print. I love how the quilting looks on the back of the quilt too :)
