My Baby is 2 Years Old!
I'm a terrible mother lol! I missed celebrating William's birthday on the blog for an entire week. Last week was so busy with my mom in town and the concert that I spaced out. So technically he's 2 years and 1 week old right now.
Still, I cannot believe that William is already 2 years old. It feels like a whirlwind, and that just yesterday we were welcoming him into the world. In just 2 short years he has grown so much. He's potty trained (happy dance), he can count to 10 by himself, he knows his animals and animal sounds, and he sleeps all night (another happy dance).
I know that I can't write anything lengthy here because if I do, I will start sobbing like a baby. So I'm just going to share some pictures from his very low key birthday party :)
He's so special that he got to have 2 birthday cakes! One while we were in Louisiana, and one on his actually birthday August 8th :)
Our little family :) This year we just had a couple people over to our place for pizza and cake. It was really relaxing and much less exhausting than his party last year.
We just got a plain cake from the store and put some of his toys on top of it. That way it was much cheaper than ordering a fancy cake, and just as delicious!
Chowing down on his birthday cake. Plus I have officially spread my love of all things Disney to him :)
So my furniture is all going to be banged to hell with this toy, but he adores it so much! He had some struggles getting the hang of holding down the button to make it drive, but he quickly figured it out. Then he asked where Mater was lol.
William is the greatest joy in my life, and everything that I do is for him. Being a mom has fulfilled my life in ways I never knew needed fulfilling. I treasure everyday I have with William, and I am beyond thankful that I get to stay home with him.
